Kensal Rise Family Home

We spent nine months renovating this 1930’s end of terrace property, increasing the footprint from 1200 to 2000 sq ft. We added a large open plan back and side extension, as well as converting the loft space into a generous Guest Suite.

For the interiors, the brief was to create a contemporary family home, that had character. We chose a modern white backdrop for the main living space to contrast with the warm herringbone floor and other wood accents. To add impact, we installed a dark blue kitchen with a stunning 3m long island, and statement lighting. Throughout the property, bespoke joinery was installed in order to maximise on storage, and all furniture, soft furnishings and accessories were specifically curated and styled.

The design objective for this project was to convert the spatial configuration throughout, to reflect modern family living, and to maximise the views to the newly landscaped garden.
